Superior Acoustic Performance
Owners are attaching growing importance to the acoustic performance of comfort systems. They have learned that with the right equipment and the right design, the HVAC system need not be a significant source of indoor or outdoor noise. However, to achieve these high performance standards, the right equipment selection is important. Mammoth understands this priority, and designs equipment to meet it. Here’s how:
Our Own Acoustics Lab
We regularly use the CES Group Sound Test Lab in Oklahoma City to evaluate and improve equipment acoustic performance. The CES Group is one of a few companies with an AMCA Standard 300 Accredited Sound Test Laboratory capable of testing large equipment. The knowledge that we have built up in testing fans, compressors, sound-treatment accessories, and cabinet configurations, is available to you to help ensure you get the performance you expect.
Experienced Engineers
For decades, our engineering staff has studied methods to attenuate the sound levels from almost all kinds of HVAC equipment. We make designs for enhanced acoustic performance part of our regular offering. We can work with your consulting engineers to meet special requirements.
Construction Materials
We use a variety of materials to attenuate sounds from fans, pumps, and even air movement. We will work with your consulting engineers to meet special requirements.
Prefabricated Mechanical Rooms
By using prefabricated mechanical rooms such as our iPEC SM system, enhanced acoustic performance is built in.
If you are interested in quiet comfort, Mammoth has equipment and skills to meet your needs.
